Connect F1 TV
Needed only for PITWALL live sessions. Your F1 TV account stays yours.
To show a live session with the full data, PITWALL needs the live token that F1 TV gives your signed-in browser. This page gives you a bookmark that hands it over in three clicks. It works with your own F1 TV subscription; PITWALL never sees your password.
1. Drag this to your bookmarks bar
Can't drag it? Use “Copy the code”, create a new bookmark, and paste the code as its address.
2. Sign in to F1 TV
Open f1tv.formula1.com and sign in with your own account.
3. Click the bookmark
While you are on the F1 TV page, click “PITWALL → F1 TV”. A PITWALL tab opens and says “F1 TV connected”. You can check or remove the connection any time in PITWALL → Settings.
What the bookmark does
- It reads the
login-sessioncookie on the F1 TV page in your browser and takes the live token out of it. - It opens
pitwall.info/v2/with the token after a#. Everything after a#stays in your browser — it is never sent to any server, including ours. - PITWALL keeps the token only in this browser (local storage), removes it from the address bar at once, and does not save it to your account. “Disconnect” and “Sign out and clear this browser” delete it.
- The code is below. It is short enough to read.
javascript:(function(){var x=function extractToken(cookieString) { const m = /(?:^|;\s*)login-session=([^;]+)/.exec(cookieString || ''); if (!m) return null; let v = m[1]; try { v = decodeURIComponent(v); } catch { return null; } try { const o = JSON.parse(v); const t = o && o.data && o.data.subscriptionToken; return typeof t === 'string' && t.length > 20 && t.length < 8192 ? t : null; } catch { return null; } };try{var t=x(document.cookie);if(!t)throw 0;window.open('https://pitwall-f1.zeabur.app/v2/#f1tv='+encodeURIComponent(t))}catch(e){alert('PITWALL: sign in to F1 TV on this page first, then click the bookmark again.')}})()
If the bookmark says it cannot find your session
Some browsers hide the F1 TV cookie from bookmarks. Then copy it by hand: on the F1 TV page open the browser tools (F12) → Application (Chrome / Edge) or Storage (Firefox) → Cookies → find login-session → copy its value. In PITWALL open Settings → F1 TV → Connect… and paste it. PITWALL reads it on your computer; nothing is uploaded.
PITWALL is an unofficial project and is not associated with Formula 1 or F1 TV. Live data needs your own active F1 TV subscription.
